Java Software Engineer (WFO)

Job Purpose

The Microservices developer will be responsible for building scalable RESTFul/SOAP APIs, the server-side application logic, integration with both internal and external systems.

Responsibilities/ Accountabilities

• Strategy, Planning & Execution

• Design, build and maintain efficient RESTFul APIs in Java

• Develop microservices based on Spring Boot framework

• Integrate to different systems/application using Apache camel

• Design and Implementation of data storage solutions

• Work with Frontend and Mobile App developers to define RESTFul API specs

• Work well with technical and non-technical people to deliver high value results

• Participating in Sprint Planning and tracking work items

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Software Engineering, Computer Science or related field

• 2+ years experience developing applications in Java

• 1+ years of experience in Spring Boot

• 1+ years of experience in Apache Camel

• 1+ years of experience in SOAP Web services

• 1+ years of experience in JMS

• Strong knowledge of Microservices architecture

• Experience with SOAP and REST services development

• Good understanding of DevOps and CI/CD practices

• Familiarity with container technologies like Docker and Kubernetes

• Experience with Oracle Database and Elasticsearch, Redis

• Experience with cloud technologies Azure/AWS would be good to have

• Experience with OAuth and JWT Tokens

• Knowledge of API Management solutions
