Job Summary
We are looking for a Product Manager to lead the evolution of our restaurant technology platform, with POS as one critical part of a much larger ecosystem.
This role is not about being a backlog administrator. We want a Product Manager who thinks deeply about product viability โ someone who can connect customer pain points, business opportunity, operational reality, and technical possibility into a product direction that matters.
You will work on high-impact workflows across restaurant operations, including transactions, payments, inventory, reporting, and merchant operations. More importantly, you will help us define how restaurant software should evolve in an AI-driven future.
We are not building just another POS system. We are building technology that transforms how restaurants run, make decisions, and grow.
What You Will Own
- Define product vision, strategy, and roadmap for key restaurant workflows, including POS and beyond
- Drive the product lifecycle end to end, from identifying customer and business problems through launch, iteration, and scale
- Ensure product decisions are grounded in viability, balancing customer value, business impact, operational practicality, and technical feasibility
- Work closely with engineering, design, operations, commercial, and customer-facing teams to deliver scalable solutions
- Shape products across critical domains such as:
- Billing and checkout flows
- Inventory and stock management
- Payment integrations, including cards, QR, and e-wallets
- Reporting, analytics, and operational visibility
- Restaurant workflow optimization across front-of-house and back-of-house operations
- Analyze merchant behavior, operational patterns, and transaction data to improve product performance and user experience
- Lead user discovery with restaurant owners, operators, and staff to uncover root problems, not just surface requests
- Drive integrations with third-party systems such as payment gateways, accounting platforms, ERP systems, and ecosystem partners
- Support go-to-market initiatives, onboarding strategy, and product adoption
- Contribute to products that are reliable in high-volume, real-time environments where speed and stability are mission-critical
- Help define how AI can become part of restaurant workflows in practical, high-value ways
How We Expect You to Think
This role is for someone who practices first-principles thinking.
We do not want a Product Manager who spends the day only managing tickets, grooming backlogs, and relaying requests between teams. We want someone who can step back, challenge assumptions, and ask:
- What is the real problem the restaurant owner is facing?
- What part of this workflow is broken at a fundamental level?
- Are we solving for todayโs request, or designing for the future of restaurant operations?
- How can software, automation, and AI work together to remove friction, not just digitize existing pain?
The right person will think beyond feature delivery and toward system-level product outcomes.
What We Are Looking For
- 3โ6+ years of experience in product management, ideally in restaurant tech, fintech, retail tech, SaaS, or operational software
- Strong understanding of transaction-heavy systems and operational workflows
- Experience with products such as POS, payments, inventory, reporting, or merchant platforms
- Strong product judgment and the ability to turn ambiguous business problems into clear product direction
- Ability to translate merchant needs into scalable product solutions
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with comfort using data to validate decisions
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management across technical and non-technical teams
- High ownership and a bias toward solving meaningful business problems
- Comfort engaging directly with customers and learning from real operational environments
- A strong belief that AI will reshape future workflows, and curiosity about how to apply it meaningfully in product design
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in omnichannel commerce or online-offline operational integration
- Familiarity with payment ecosystems, including regional QR standards, local wallets, and settlement workflows
- Understanding of restaurant or retail hardware such as terminals, printers, barcode scanners, or kitchen devices
- Experience working with APIs, integrations, and external service providers
- Background in B2B SaaS or products serving SMEs
- Exposure to AI-assisted workflows, automation, or intelligent product experiences
Valuable Domain Knowledge
- Restaurant and F&B operations, including cashier flows, peak-hour bottlenecks, and operational edge cases
- Tax handling such as SST, GST, service charges, discounts, and rounding logic
- Multi-location management and centralized operational control
- Offline mode design, synchronization challenges, and real-world recovery scenarios
- Security and compliance awareness, including PCI-DSS concepts
- Real-time reliability expectations in operationally critical systems
What We Offer
- Competitive salary package and benefits
- Internal transfer opportunities as we grow and scale
- Hybrid work arrangement with flexible hours
- Casual dress code
- Career development and training opportunities
- A young, energetic, and mission-driven culture
