IT Software Engineer I (Mobile)

The IT Software Engineer 1 - Mobile assists in building and updating mobile applications that deliver reliable and user-friendly experiences. The role focuses on learning platform standards (Android, iOS, or cross-platform) while supporting development tasks such as feature coding, bug fixes, and testing. The Junior developer participates in basic stages of the SDLC and works closely with senior team members to ensure proper implementation and adherence to best practices.

• Develop assigned mobile screens, UI components, or small features following team standards and design mockup.
• Implement UI elements according to mockups and specific mobile platform guidelines
• Collaborate with designers to clarify visual and functional requirements.
• Ensure compatibility across targeted operating system versions and device screen sizes.
• Assist in fixing bugs, performing simple enhancements, and supporting routine mobile application maintenance.
  
  
  

To succeed and grow in this role, you will be required to meet the following qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or any related field. Completed bootcamps is a plus.
• Basic understanding of mobile application architecture and UI layout concepts (e.g., adaptive design, handling permissions).
• Familiarity with at least one mobile language or framework (e.g., Swift, Kotlin, Java, Flutter, or React Native) — beginner level is acceptable.
• Basic knowledge of backend concepts (APIs, databases).
• Experience using Git or similar version control tools.
• Knowledge in basic concepts of any Software lifecycle methodology (such as SDLC, Agile), technical documentation practices, and QA processes
