Lead Software Engineer position

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and Mentor: Lead a team of software engineers, providing technical guidance, conducting code reviews, and fostering a collaborative culture.
• Architecture and Design: Oversee the architectural design and implementation of new features and enhancements for FlowAccount's platform, ensuring they are scalable, efficient, and maintainable.
• Software Development: Write high-quality, clean, and well-documented code, contributing directly to the development of the company's core products.
• Process Improvement: Drive the adoption of best practices in the software development lifecycle, including Agile methodologies, CI/CD, and automated testing.
• Problem-Solving: Conduct root cause analysis for complex technical issues and proactively implement measures to prevent future problems.
• Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, DevOps, and customer support, to translate business needs into technical solutions.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Experience: Generally requires 5+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 2 years in a leadership or technical lead role.
• Technical Proficiency: Strong expertise in one or more of the following:
• Programming Languages: C#, Java, Python, or JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Frameworks: Experience with frameworks relevant to the tech stack (e.g., .NET for C#, Angular for frontend).
• Databases: Hands-on experience with databases such as MS SQL, MongoDB, Redis, or Elasticsearch.
• System Design: A solid understanding of system design and architecture, particularly for SaaS platforms with numerous users.
• DevOps and Cloud: Familiarity with CI/CD processes, containerization (Docker), and cloud platforms, especially AWS.
• Methodologies: Strong knowledge of Agile/Scrum development principles.
• Soft Skills: Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills with the ability to mentor and support team members.
