Data Engineer - Remote (HN/HCM)

Role: Data Engineer - FPT Software

Location: HCM, HN

Working model: Hybrid/Remote

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL processes.
• Optimize and manage data storage solutions, including databases and data warehouses.
• Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to understand data requirements and deliver high-quality data solutions.
• Implement data quality and validation processes to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
• Monitor and troubleshoot data systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies in data engineering.
• Mentor and provide guidance to junior data engineers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in data engineering or a related role.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and experience with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL).
• Experience with big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark, Kafka).
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala.
• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and their data services.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Efficient English communication skills (both verbal and written).

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with data modeling and data architecture design.
• Knowledge of data governance and security best practices.
• Familiarity with machine learning and data science concepts.
