Senior Android Application Engineer | Good English

I. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop and maintain Android applications using Java OR Kotlin.
• Design and implement application architecture using multi-module Clean Architecture and MVVM pattern.
• Manage application state using Flow, LiveData, and StateFlow.
• Build modern and intuitive user interfaces with Jetpack Compose and Material Design 3.
• Integrate and manage local data storage using Room.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deliver new features.
• Ensure application performance, quality, and responsiveness.
• Identify and resolve bugs, bottlenecks, and performance issues.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
• Integrate applications with backend services and APIs.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to engineering best practices.
• Write and maintain unit tests and UI tests to ensure application reliability.
• Prepare and submit applications to the Google Play Store.
• Provide ongoing application support, maintenance, and enhancements based on user feedback.
• Work closely with UI/UX designers to create user-friendly interfaces.
• Proactively identify improvement opportunities and suggest effective technical solutions.
• Communicate and collaborate effectively in English, both written and spoken.

II. JOB QUALIFICATIONS

Must Have

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in Android development.
• Strong hands-on experience with Java OR Kotlin.
• Strong experience in building Android applications with Clean Architecture and MVVM.
• Good experience with Jetpack Compose and modern Android UI development.
• Experience with Flbow, LiveData, and StateFlow for state management.
• Experience with Room for local database integration.
• Experience integrating with REST APIs and backend services.
• Strong understanding of mobile application performance, debugging, and optimization.
• Experience writing unit tests and UI tests.
• Experience publishing and maintaining applications on the Google Play Store.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Good English communication skills, both verbal and written. (mandatory)

Nice to Have

• Experience with payment systems.
• Experience with Google Pay integration.
• Experience with Google Maps integration.
• Experience mentoring junior developers or guiding technical decisions is a plus.
• Experience working in agile teams is an advantage.
