Job title: Data Engineer

Working Location: Lottery Tower, 77 Tran Nhan Ton, An Dong Ward, HCMC

Working Time: 09h00 - 18h00 (T2-T6)

As a Data Engineer at Fundiin, you will be responsible for designing, developing and maintaining the data pipelines from scratch to support our data-driven initiatives. Your work will play a key role in enabling data analysis, reporting, and compliance efforts across the company.

Your responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Build and operate production data pipelines using Apache Beam / Google Dataflow
Maintain and extend dbt models (incremental models, tests, snapshots, documentation)
Automate pipelines and scheduled jobs using Cloud Composer (Airflow)
Implement data quality checks, logging and alerting to ensure pipeline reliability
Work closely with Data Analyst / Data Scientist / Backend to serve data for credit scoring, fraud detection and business analytics
Support MLOps workflows (feature pipelines, model deployment integration, model monitoring signals)
Continuously improve cost efficiency, latency and stability of the data platform

What you need to succeed in this role:

2+ years of hands-on experience as a Data Engineer (preferably in fintech / lending / payments)
Solid SQL + Python skills in real production environments
Experience building data pipelines with Beam / Dataflow or equivalent frameworks
Experience maintaining dbt models (incremental models, tests, documentation)
Experience with orchestration (Airflow / Cloud Composer)
Comfortable working with cloud data platforms (GCP: BigQuery, Pub/Sub, Cloud Storage)
Understanding of pipeline observability (logging, alerting, data quality checks)
Experience partnering with Data Science on MLOps workflows (feature pipelines, model deployment integration) is a plus
Clear communication, ownership mentality, and willingness to iterate & improve existing systems
