Lead Data Engineer

🚀 We’re Hiring: Sr / Lead Data Engineer (Azure)

📍 Location: Baner, Pune (WFO – 5 days)

🕐 Shift: 1:00 PM – 10:00 PM

We are looking for a Lead Data Engineer with 5–12 years of experience in building scalable data platforms and leading end-to-end data engineering solutions.

🔴 Must Have (Mandatory):

* Strong hands-on experience with Medallion Architecture (Bronze, Silver, Gold layers)

* Proven experience in designing and implementing modern data lakehouse architectures

🔹 Key Requirements:

* Advanced expertise in SQL (complex queries, stored procedures, performance tuning)

* Strong experience with Azure Data Engineering stack:

Azure Data Factory

Azure Synapse Analytics / Synapse SQL Warehouse

Azure Data Lake & Blob Storage

Azure Databricks

* Hands-on experience in Python / PySpark

* Strong understanding of data modeling & database design

* Experience in building scalable data pipelines & transformations

🔹 Leadership Expectations:

* Lead end-to-end data engineering projects

* Mentor and guide junior engineers

* Work closely with stakeholders for requirement gathering & solution design

* Drive best practices in data architecture & performance optimization

🔹 Good to Have:

* Experience with Power BI

* Exposure to Azure Analysis Services (Tabular Models)

* Understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum/Sprint planning)
