Garena - Senior Frontend Engineer

We are looking for a Senior Frontend Engineer who is not only technically solid but also passionate about mentoring others and contributing to a collaborative team culture. You will:

✨In this role, you will be responsible for:

1. Collaborate closely with backend engineers, PMs, QAs, and cross-functional teams to provide appropriate technical solutions and build high-quality event websites and frontend product features.

2. Ensure pixel-perfect execution and implement rich UI experiences using CSS animations, transitions, and motion effects.

3. Develop and maintain reusable components and modules to improve development efficiency and system stability.

4. Drive the adoption of frontend standards, best practices, and performance optimization strategies.

5. Drive the introduction and adoption of AI to enhance development efficiency and quality.

6. Actively participate in code reviews to improve code quality across the team.

7. Support onboarding and mentorship of new engineers to foster a culture of knowledge sharing and collaboration.

8. Continuously improve development workflows and tooling to enhance team productivity and developer experience.

✨We are looking for someone who has:

1. BS degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent hands-on development experience.

2. 3+ years of experience in frontend development, with solid knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.

3. Proficient in VueJS or ReactJS, with a strong understanding of component lifecycle and state management concepts.

4. Solid understanding of CSS transitions, animations, and visual effects for building rich UI interactions

5. Strong team player with excellent communication skills and a passion for sharing knowledge.

6. Self-motivated and proactive in identifying problems and proposing technical solutions.

✨Preferred qualifications:

1. Familiarity with AI-powered design-to-code solutions (e.g., Figma-to-code plugins, LLM-based component generation) or rapid prototyping is a significant plus.

2. Familiarity with UI design tools or graphics software (e.g., Figma, Zeplin, Photoshop) to ensure pixel-perfect design implementation is a plus.

3. Familiarity with performance monitoring and analysis tools (e.g., Lighthouse, Sentry) is a plus.

4. Passion for mobile gaming is a plus.
