Job Description – SAP Testing Engineer (Automation/Performance)

Experience: 5–9 Years 

Engagement: Contractual / Hybrid Model 

Location: Bangalore, Pune, Gurugram, Hyderabad and Chennai

Role Overview 

We are looking for an experienced SAP Testing Engineer with strong expertise in SAP functional & technical testing, along with hands-on experience in automation and/or performance testing. The ideal candidate will work closely with SAP implementation teams to ensure high-quality delivery across application modules.

Key Responsibilities 

• Analyze SAP business processes, identify testing needs, and define test strategy 

• Develop and execute test cases, test scripts, and test scenarios across SAP modules 

• Perform integration, regression, system & UAT testing 

• Create automation frameworks or enhance existing frameworks for SAP applications 

• Execute performance testing and analyze bottlenecks (if performance focus) 

• Track defects, perform RCA, and coordinate resolution with functional and technical teams 

• Support test planning, estimation, reporting, and test governance 

• Maintain testing documentation and ensure compliance with quality standards.

Must-Have Skills 

• Strong SAP Testing experience (Manual + Automation and/or Performance) 

• Hands-on in at least one SAP module (MM, SD, FI, PP, HCM, etc.) 

• Automation experience using Tricentis Tosca, UFT, Selenium, or Worksoft Certify 

• Performance testing expertise using LoadRunner/JMeter (if applicable) 

• Experience with Jira, ALM/Quality Center 

• Strong understanding of SAP landscapes, integration flows, and business process testing.

Good-to-Have Skills 

• SAP Test accelerator automation framework knowledge 

• SAP S/4 HANA migration testing experience 

• SAP Test planning & governance exposure 

• Certification in SAP Testing / Tosca / Performance Testing.

Mandatory Skills: 

• SAP testing experience with functional knowledge 
• Selenium automation with a strong understanding of automation frameworks 
• JIRA expertise, including test management in JIRA 
• Familiarity with Agile processes.

Good to Have: 

• Performance testing experience using JMeter or BlazMeter. 
• Automation experience with other open-source tools
