ASSOCIATE DATA SCIENTIST - Machine Learning

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Machine Learning / Data Analyst Engineer with strong expertise in SQL, Python, and machine learning algorithms. The candidate will be responsible for data analysis, model development, and supporting data-driven decision-making across the project lifecycle.

Primary Skills & Responsibilities

• Strong hands-on experience with SQL for data extraction, transformation, and analysis.
• Solid understanding of Machine Learning concepts and algorithms, including:
  • Regression & Time Series & Forecasting algos experience (good to have in in past 1-2 years of exp)
  • Linear Regression
  • Logistic Regression
  • Forecasting Algorithms
• Experience in implementing machine learning models and validating their performance.
• Basic understanding of statistics
• Proficient in Python (Pandas, Data Wrangling, Transformation.. etc)
• Strong working knowledge of Python data analysis libraries, especially Pandas.
• Excel skills (7 on scale of 10)
• Ability to clean, preprocess, and analyze large datasets.
• Interpret analytical results and present insights clearly to stakeholders.

Secondary Skills

• Experience with Git for version control.
• Familiarity with GitHub and GitHub Actions for CI/CD workflows and code management.

Good to Have

• Basic knowledge of data visualization tools.
• Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC).
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
