Azure Cloud Platform Engineer

Job Title: Cloud Platform Engineer – Azure

Position Type (Internal/External): External

Location: Hyderabad

Required Technology Skills:

• Highly Skilled in Cloud Infrastructure Deployment Automation using Terraform, YAML, PowerShell and Azure DevOps.
• Experience Working with Azure DevOps and/or other CICD Tools and pipelines.
• Practical experience with broad range of Azure services: Storage, Compute, DB, Cognitive Services, App Services, Key Vault, Data Factory, Databricks, VNet, Policies etc.
• Familiar with Azure Active Directory.
• Familiar with Cloud Networking and Hybrid cloud Connectivity concepts.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Automate Cloud Infrastructure Deployments and Configuration Management with Terraform, YAML & PowerShell.
• Identify engineering defects in the existing code base and constantly improve the code quality.
• Actively support operational teams and other stakeholder teams to maintain business continuation and customer satisfaction.
• Performs code reviews.
• Ensures adherence to Architecture and Cloud Security standards, policies, and Guardrails.
• Build CI/CD pipelines to orchestrate provisioning and deployment of Cloud resources.
• Hands on experience in integrating developed IaC into CICD pipeline builds & releases.
• Write process and procedures documents documentation as needed to support operational support.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
• Minimum 5-8 years working experience in IT infrastructure domain with 3 - 5 years of experience in Scripting and MS Azure
• Scripting using PowerShell, Infrastructure deployments following IAC method
• Excellent English communication skills (both written and verbal)

• MS Azure Certification(s)
