Requirements

As a Sr. Software Engineer, you'll have the opportunity to work on amazing products with cross-functional exposure to various Here product and internal teams. . Your role encompasses defining and working on features and technical tasks in a self-directed fashion, supporting your colleagues with technical challenges, working with product management to analyze requirements, talking to stakeholders, designing, implementing, and documenting solutions as well as testing and reviewing your colleagues' work.In addtion you will also:

• Architect, design, develop, test the backend & frontend components
• Evaluate and choose technologies suitable for work
• Elaborate and refinemene of user stories
• Development infrastructure (build, testing, continuous integration, delivery)
• Run, monitor, and support in production, ensure our stakeholders receive world-class service by periodically participating in on-call shifts
• Team ceremonies (planning, demo, triage, retrospective)
• Communicate effectively about decisions, direction, and progress, both inside and outside the team
  
  

Who are you?

An Ambitious Team-player Who Has Experience Developing And Deploying Production-grade Services. You Have Experience With The Production Software Lifecycle, As Well As Deployment Of Software To Production Ready, Stable Environments. You Have 5-8 Years Of Professional Software Development And Deployment Experience Including Knowledge Of Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery, And Automated Testing Disciplines. You Also Have The Following

• Strong programming skills in Python or Java (Spring Boot) or Typescript(atleast one).
• Hands-on experience on software development using AI agents
• Hands-on experience with cloud-based technologies (e.g. AWS, Azure).
• Experience with distributed systems; Docker & Kubernetes
• Working knowledge on JS frameworks like Angular, Vuejs
• Experience with deployment automation systems (e.g. Jenkins, Gitlab, etc.)
• Experience of building MCP servers, AI agents is strongly desired
• Experience of working on Open source software
• Interest in DevOps methodologies to drive throughput and stability

The DevOps Productivity Tools team is responsible for development and support of tools & services to enhance developer experience and increase efficiency of Here products customer support. This team is responsible for number of products on onboarding of Here offerings to Here platform, analytics tools for customer support enablement and debugging & Software Catalog and dashboard products for Here developers
