The role of a Digital Senior Data Engineer involves designing, developing, and supporting new and current SQL, ETL and BI application processes employing industry standards and best practices to enhance data delivery from primary sources to analytical reporting and insights of Digital Platform, Digital Products, and Digital Marketing performance.
What You’ll Do
- Data Mapping Design: Ensure data maps are properly ingested in the Unified Data Platform
- Datamart Creations: Creates ETL/ELT workflows to ingest, transform, and load data from various sources, ensuring performance and scalability.
- Strategic AI Leadership: Drive AI initiatives, ensuring strategic alignment and seamless integration into business operations.
- Technical Expertise: Guide AI/ML decision-making, optimize model performance, and ensure scalable AI solutions.
- Machine Learning Development & Deployment: Build ML models, optimize data pipelines, implement automation, and apply best practices in NLP and deep learning.
- Quality Assurance & Prompt Engineering : Test AI applications for accuracy, reliability, and performance.
- Team Collaboration: Work with engineers, data scientists, and stakeholders to integrate AI solutions and communicate technical concepts effectively.
- Operational Enhancement: Improve efficiency and decision-making through AI-driven automation and predictive analytics.
- Innovation Catalyst: Stay ahead of AI/ML advancements and identify opportunities for system enhancement and innovation.
- Problem Solving & Optimization: Troubleshoot AI challenges, optimize ML models, and monitor performance using Azure Monitor and Application Insights.
- Leadership & Mentorship: Lead AI/ML engineers, foster growth, and promote best practices in MLOps and data engineering.
- Strategic Alignment: Work with senior leadership to align AI/ML initiatives with long-term business goals for maximum impact.
What You Need To Have
- At least 4-6 years experience related to Data Science and/or Data Engineering.
Technical Skills
ü Data Engineering:
- Experience in ETL workflows in Databricks and/or Snowflake
ü AI & Machine Learning
- Advanced knowledge of ML algorithms (classification, regression, clustering)
- Expertise in LLM frameworks
- Prompt Engineering
- Deep understanding of NLP techniques (tokenization, named entity recognition, speech-to-text)
- AI Ethics & Bias Reduction (fairness, explainability, compliance)
ü Cloud & DevOps
- Cloud-native AI deployments using Azure ML, Databricks, Kubernetes
- MLOps & CI/CD Pipelines: Azure DevOps, MLflow, Terraform, ARM Templates, Bicep
- Infrastructure Management: Azure VMs, VNets, Load Balancers, Firewalls
ü Software Engineering & Data Handling
- Programming: Expert-level Python with experience in ML libraries and frameworks
ü Security & Identity Management
- AI Security & Compliance: Implementing security best practices in AI deployments
ü UI/UX & AI Applications
- Managing low code/ no code platform

- Knowledgeable in Google Analytics, Firebase, Oracle and Google Marketing Platforms
