Quality Assurance Engineer (Automation/Robotics)

Role:

A Quality Assurance Engineer at HOPE Technik is vital for maintaining the quality and reliability of products in robotics, automation, and special vehicle projects. This role involves hands-on work in testing, analyzing, and improving products to meet the required standards and specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Quality Testing and Validation:

• Formulate a test plan and thoroughly test products and components to ensure they meet predefined quality standards.
• Develop and implement testing protocols and procedures for various stages of product development.
• Utilize both manual and automated testing techniques.

1. Issue Identification and Resolution:

• Identify any defects or inconsistencies in products or processes.
• Collaborate with the product development team to understand product requirements and ensure quality considerations are integrated throughout.
• Provide actionable insights and recommendations for resolving quality issues.

1. Continuous Improvement:

• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and production efficiency.
• Analyse data and feedback to identify patterns and areas for improvement.
• Recommend modifications in products or processes based on findings and industry best practices.

1. Documentation and Reporting:

• Maintain accurate records of testing procedures, methodologies, and results.
• Prepare detailed reports on quality assurance activities, findings, and project progress.
• Ensure all documentation is compliant with industry standards and company policies.

1. Collaboration and Communication:

• Work closely with other engineering teams, including design, production, and software development, to integrate quality assurance into all phases of the product development lifecycle.
• Communicate effectively with team members, management, and external stakeholders regarding quality metrics, objectives, and outcomes.
• Participate in regular team meetings and provide updates on quality assurance activities.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality, or a related technical field.
• Proven experience as a Quality Assurance Engineer or similar role, preferably in robotics, automation, or vehicle engineering.
• Strong understanding of quality assurance methodologies, tools, and standards.
• Experience with statistical analysis and quality testing tools.
• Ability to troubleshoot and provide solutions to quality-related issues.
• Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and organizational abilities.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
• Knowledge of industry-specific regulations and standards is a plus.
