Full Stack Developer

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly capable Full Stack Developer to develop, enhance and support the digital platforms, corporate websites, and mobile applications across Huttons Group.

The role involves end-to-end development, enhancement, and maintenance of mission-critical systems spanning backend services, frontend applications, cloud infrastructure, and native mobile applications.

You will collaborate closely with technical leadership, business stakeholders, offshore developers and vendors to deliver scalable, secure, and high-performance solutions that support the organisation’s digital initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

- Support and maintain existing web and mobile application portfolio under Huttons and its associated companies
- Design, develop and maintain full-stack applications (backend & frontend)
- Assist in managing and optimizing cloud infrastructure across Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Amazon Web Services (AWS)
- Maintain and enhance APIs, microservices, and background job system
- Optimize database structure, queries, and performance (MySQL/SQL)
- Support and enhance native mobile applications (iOS & Android)
- Implement CI/CD pipelines and follow DevOps best practices      
- Ensure system security, scalability, performance, and high availability       
- Work closely with technical leadership and business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions
- Troubleshoot production issues and improve system stability and reliability
- Maintain proper documentation and adhere to technical standards and best practices
- Any other ad-hoc tasks as assigned

Required Technical Skills

Backend
Strong experience in PHP (Laravel framework preferred)
Solid experience in RESTful API development
Strong SQL skills (MySQL /relational databases)  
Experience with job queues, cron jobs, scheduled tasks

Frontend
Strong experience in Vue.js 
Good understanding of modern frontend architecture      
Experience with SPA frameworks and state management

Cloud & DevOps
Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) 
Hands-on experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS)
Experience with Compute / AppEngine / EC2
Experience with Cloud SQL / RDS
Experience with Cloud Storage / S3IAM & security configurations CI/CD pipelines
Basic networking knowledge (DNS, SSL, firewall rules)
Experience with Linux servers

Mobile Development Skills (advantage)
iOS development with Swift / SwiftUI
Android development with Kotlin
Understanding of API integration and mobile app release lifecycle

Good to Have     
.NET (C# / ASP.NET)  
Experience with IIS / Windows ServerOAuth / API authentication implementation
Experience with background job schedulers
Experience scaling SaaS products

Experience Profile
5+ years of full-stack development experience
Able to work independently while aligning with technical direction and guidance
Strong problem-solving mindset

Strong communication skills (able to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders)
Experience working in fast-paced, business-driven environments
