Job Summary
Acts as a technical lead for Test, In-System Test (IST), and Repair functions, providing solutions to complex technical issues. This role is responsible for driving test strategy, supporting production, and ensuring overall test effectiveness and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain Test Process Instructions (TPI) for production
- Train production operators and technicians on test processes and procedures
- Troubleshoot test failures and perform root cause analysis for complex issues
- Develop and maintain test scripts and diagnostic programs
- Define overall integration and test strategies, including test plans and execution schedules
- Configure high-end server systems for testing and validation
- Design and develop test fixtures and related equipment
- Support New Product Introduction (NPI) by defining test specifications and procedures
- Set up parameters and conduct testing for customer samples when required
- Install hardware into racks, including cable routing and labeling
- Build systems according to engineering drawings, including OS and application loading
- Review test equipment capacity and utilization to support production demand
- Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to ensure alignment and execution
- Ensure compliance with workplace Health & Safety standards
- Prepare and deliver technical presentations to internal and external stakeholders
- Establish and maintain strong working relationships with internal teams, suppliers, and customers

- Strong knowledge of testing methodologies, including test planning, test case design, execution, and analysis
- Ability to analyze test data, identify issues, and implement effective solutions
- Proven capability to handle complex technical problems and drive resolution
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills across multiple functions
- Ability to work both independently and in a team environment

Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in testing, manufacturing, or engineering environment
- Experience working on complex technical issues involving cross-functional collaboration
- Strong understanding of manufacturing equipment, including maintenance and calibration
- Ability to apply strategic thinking in selecting methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in electronics or PCBA manufacturing environment
- Experience in start-up or fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Familiarity with Quality Management Systems (e.g., ISO 9001)
