Technical Data Analyst

Job Description

ibex, on behalf of its Global client is seeking a Technical Data Analyst to join European Data Analytics team. In this role, you will analyze complex datasets, develop reports and dashboards, and provide actionable insights that drive operational efficiencies and business growth. Additionally, you will contribute to the development of software solutions that support everyday business activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Generate monthly insurance reports and weekly internal reports to support business operations.

• Analyze operational performance to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement.

• Develop and maintain KPI tracking tools to monitor performance across various teams, including supply chain, customer service, and finance.

• Ensure data integrity and governance by maintaining accuracy and consistency across systems.

• Automate recurring reports and manual processes using DBT, SQL, and Python.

• Present insights and recommendations to senior leadership in a clear and actionable manner.

Must-Have Skills:

• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to break down complex problems and derive actionable insights.

• Proficiency in Python for data analysis and automation (Pandas, NumPy).

• Experience working with large datasets to identify trends, forecasts, and insights.

• Strong SQL skills for querying and manipulating data.

• Experience using DBT for efficient data transformation and modelling.

• Ability to translate business needs into data-driven solutions.

• Excellent communication skills, capable of presenting findings clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Curious, detail-oriented, and proactive in problem-solving.

Preferred Skills (Nice to Have):

• Knowledge of API integrations for data extraction.

• Understanding of machine learning concepts and statistical modelling.
