Your Role And Responsibilities

As an Application Developer specializing in Asset Management, you will design, develop, and support Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) applications using IBM Maximo and related technologies. This role focuses on creating efficient, reliable, and maintainable EAM solutions that meet the organization's needs. Your primary responsibilities will include:

Develop Mobile Application Components: Configure, and maintain Maximo Mobile/MaxMobile applications while supporting mobile synchronization and online/offline functionality.
Platform Configuration: Implement functional and technical changes using the MBO framework, Application Designer, Database Configuration, Workflow Designer, and Maximo security and authorization settings.
Scripting and Database Knowledge: Create, modify, and optimize Automation Scripts (JavaScript, Python, Jython) and write efficient SQL queries across Maximo‑supported databases.
Integration and Troubleshooting: Integrate Maximo with external systems through REST/SOAP APIs and the Maximo Integration Framework (MIF), and troubleshoot issues across modules, integrations, and mobile components.
Collaboration and Documentation: Work closely with functional teams and stakeholders to deliver high‑quality solutions, providing technical documentation, design specifications, and ongoing support.

Required Technical And Professional Expertise

Maximo Platform Expertise: Strong hands‑on experience with IBM Maximo Asset Management, including MBO framework, Application Designer, Database Configuration, Workflows, and Maximo security/authorization.
Mobile Development: Proven experience developing and configuring Maximo Mobile/MaxMobile applications, with solid understanding of online/offline synchronization concepts.
Scripting and Database Skills: Proficiency in Automation Scripting (JavaScript, Python, Jython) and strong SQL skills across Oracle, DB2, or SQL Server databases.
Integration Knowledge: Experience working with REST/SOAP web services and the Maximo Integration Framework (MIF).
Analytical and Problem‑Solving: Strong debugging, analytical, and troubleshooting abilities to resolve issues across Maximo modules and mobile components.

Preferred Technical And Professional Experience

Maximo Platform Knowledge: Experience with Maximo Application Suite (MAS) or modernized Maximo environments, with a strong understanding of performance tuning for both Maximo mobile and server components.
Mobile Technology Expertise: Knowledge of push notifications, mobile UI configuration, and offline caching frameworks to optimize Maximo mobile user experiences.
Industry & DevOps Practices: Background in asset‑intensive industries such as Energy, Utilities, Transportation, or Oil & Gas, along with familiarity in DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and automated deployment processes for Maximo.
