Your Role And Responsibilities
As a Package Specialist: SAP HR, you will support the ongoing operation and evolution of the Performance Management data and reporting landscape, leveraging strong business knowledge and packaged solution expertise. You will be responsible for ensuring that performance-related reports are accurate, reliable, and aligned with business needs, while effectively integrating packaged technology into the broader HR and enterprise ecosystem.
Your primary focus will be data integrity, report maintenance, and report development for Performance and Goals Management, Calibration, and Continuous Feedback (whenever "Performance Management" is referred below, the 3 modules are to be considered). When capacity allows, you may also support reporting needs across other SAP SuccessFactors modules. You will work closely with the broader HR Technology Performance team, business stakeholders, and CIO partners to deliver timely and actionable insights.
Your Primary Responsibilities Will Include
Maintain and Enhance Performance Management Reports
Own and maintain the current inventory of Performance Management reports, ensuring they are up to date, well-documented, and aligned with evolving business requirements. Configure report changes when requested and ensure continuity for downstream users and processes.
Ensure Report Quality and Operational Stability
Monitor the health and functionality of existing reports, proactively identifying and resolving issues. Address defects, data discrepancies, and performance issues in a timely manner to ensure reliable access to Performance Management data.
Develop New Reports Based on Business Needs
Design and develop new Performance Management reports as requested, translating business questions into reporting solutions. This includes understanding business requirements, recommending appropriate reporting approaches, and partnering with the HR Tech Performance team to deliver scalable and compliant solutions.
Conduct Fit Analysis For Reporting Requirements
Perform fit analysis between business reporting needs and available SAP HR / SAP SuccessFactors reporting capabilities, identifying gaps, constraints, and opportunities. Provide input into solution design decisions to balance standard functionality and customization.
Configure, Test, and Validate Reporting Solutions
Configure and test reports to ensure accuracy, completeness, and usability. Validate data outputs with stakeholders and support testing activities during enhancements, releases, or process changes impacting Performance Management.
Support Integrations and Data Requests
Collaborate with CIO / IT stakeholders on integrations or data flows that require Performance Management data. Provide performance-related data extracts or insights for specific business, audit, or operational needs, ensuring proper governance and data integrity.
Provide Ongoing Operational and Post-Implementation Support
Deliver ongoing support for Performance Management reporting post-implementation, including user inquiries, issue resolution, and continuous improvement. Contribute to best practices, documentation, and knowledge sharing within the HR Technology ecosystem.

Required Technical And Professional Expertise
- Performance Management Reporting Expertise: Experience supporting data and reporting for SAP HR / SAP SuccessFactors Performance and Goals Management, Continuous Feedback, and Calibration, including standard and custom reports used for operational and leadership decision‑making.
- Report Configuration and Maintenance: Experience configuring, maintaining, and updating an existing inventory of reports, including implementing requested changes and ensuring reports continue to function as intended.
- Reporting Analysis and Development: Experience translating business requirements into reporting solutions and developing new Performance Management reports in collaboration with HR Technology and functional stakeholders.
- Data Quality, Testing, and Issue Resolution: Experience validating report outputs, testing reporting solutions, and identifying and resolving data or functional issues impacting report accuracy and usability.
- Fit Analysis for Reporting Solutions: Experience conducting fit analysis between business reporting needs and available SAP HR / SAP SuccessFactors reporting capabilities to identify gaps and recommend solutions.
- Packaged HR Technology Exposure: Experience working within a packaged HR technology environment (SAP HR / SAP SuccessFactors), understanding dependencies and data flows within and across HR modules.
- Continuous Improvement Mindset: Exposure to identifying opportunities to simplify reporting, improve data quality, or enhance the overall reporting user experience.
Preferred Technical And Professional Experience
- Cross-Module Reporting: Exposure to supporting reporting for additional SAP SuccessFactors modules beyond Performance and Goals Management, Calibration, and Continuous Feedback.
- Integration and Data Collaboration: Experience working with IT or CIO organizations on integrations or data exchanges requiring Performance Management data.
- Stakeholder Partnership: Experience working closely with HR, business, and technology stakeholders to clarify reporting requirements, manage expectations, and deliver effective outcomes.
- SAP SuccessFactors Permissions Knowledge: Basic knowledge of SAP SuccessFactors role-based permissions and how permission settings impact report visibility, data access, and end‑user report usage.
