As a Level 2 Software Engineer, you’ll help build and enhance high‑quality SaaS products, working across both front‑end and back‑end technologies. You’ll contribute throughout the full software development lifecycle and collaborate within an Agile team to deliver reliable, well‑designed solutions with a positive, can‑do attitude.

Responsibilities

• Help design, build, and improve features across the platform
• Work closely with engineers, product, design, and infrastructure teams to deliver high‑quality solutions
• Contribute across the full software development lifecycle within an Agile (Scrum) team
• Support sprint planning and delivery in line with the product roadmap
• Investigate, fix, and prevent software defects, supported by unit testing
• Create clear documentation and contribute to team best practices
• Work independently on assigned tasks while seeking guidance when needed
  
  

Skills And Experience

• 4+ years’ commercial software development experience, including 3+ years with Python
• Experience building and maintaining web‑based applications using Python plus technologies like C#, .NET, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML & CSS
• Exposure to cloud‑native development and CI/CD pipelines (ideally AWS, Docker, Kubernetes)
• Working knowledge of Git, code reviews, and Agile (Scrum) ways of working
• Familiarity with application security concepts and relational databases (e.g. MySQL, Postgres)
• Clear communicator who enjoys collaborating, learning, and contributing to team best practices

• Relevant Computer Science or Engineering degree
• Cloud or cybersecurity certifications
• Experience with Gherkin/Cucumber
