Role/Job Title: Senior Product Manager - Structured Trade Finance

Function/ Department: Wholesale Banking

Job Purpose

The purpose is to focus on the growth and evolution of our structured trade finance franchise, with aim of expanding market share, designing client-led solutions that enable corporates and financial institutions to manage complex trade flows. The position will act as a subject matter expert, collaborate with cross-functional teams, Off-shore Banking Units (GIFT City IBU) of the Bank and engage with Financial Institutions/ Banks/ Corporate clients to deliver best-in-class structured trade finance solutions.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Define and execute product strategy for structured trade finance, covering payable finance, receivable finance, inventory finance, export finance, risk participation, financing from Gift city IBU etc. Identify market trends, client needs, and regulatory changes to design innovative structured trade solutions.
• Identify opportunities across sectors and develop sector-specific financing models.
• Partner with coverage, risk, compliance, legal, other product teams and sales teams to customized structured trade solutions that balance client requirements with prudent risk management.
• Monitor competitive dynamics and industry benchmarks to refine strategy. Maintain strong market engagement with corporates, industry bodies, and regulators.
• Own the product P&L including pricing, risk-return optimization, and revenue targets.
• Tie-ups with various new age tech platforms providing value added solutions in the area of trade finance.
• Project management for new initiatives, to drive overall projects for timely implementation.
• Maintain strong engagement with FI/ Banks and Intermediaries.
  
  

Educational Qualifications

Graduation: Any graduate

Post Graduation: Any post graduate

Experience: 10-18 years of relevant experience in managing structured trade product.
