About the Role
The Associate Test Engineer is responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our software applications and platforms before they are released to the end user. The role involves collaborating with teams to understand the technology stack and its impact on business outcomes and contributing to the continuous improvement of testing processes.
Key Responsibilities
Primary Responsibilities
- Test and maintain software applications and related programs using a variety of software development tools in accordance with customer design requirements.
- Partner with teams to understand how the technology stack aligns with business outcomes.
- Anticipate and recognize bottlenecks in work processes and suggest improvements.
- Define success measures for process improvements in coordination with the team.
- Research and recommend frameworks and architectural/code design patterns.
- Contribute to product development by capturing and communicating customer feedback.
Secondary Responsibilities
- Achieve operational excellence through unit testing, establishing SLAs, and programming for resiliency and scalability.
- Review skill and expertise requirements to meet team goals and identify staffing needs.
- Mentor individual contributors and managers by sharing advice and recommendations based on experience.
What We Are Looking For
Education
- Graduate in BE from Tier II Institute in a relevant field.
Experience
- Prior experience in software testing or quality assurance roles is preferred.
Skills and Attributes
- Strong understanding of software development and testing tools.
- Ability to identify process bottlenecks and suggest improvements.
- Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Analytical mindset with attention to detail.
- Ability to mentor and guide team members.
