AVP - Software Engineering (Tech Lead - NPS)

Summary:

• Lead end-to-end application development within the Payments domain, ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture and performance benchmarks.
• Oversee secure web application development, integrating encryption standards (TLS /, AES) and secure coding practices.
• Assess existing products, propose areas of improvement such as in technical areas. 
• Architect and secure RESTful and SOAP APIs using OAuth 2.0, JWT, and API Gateway mechanisms.
• Understanding technical and functional specifications in detail.
• Collaborate on Business Requirement Analysis and contribute to the development of Solution Designs alongside developers.
• Ensure adequate security practices are followed in development.
• Conduct regular code reviews and implement SSDLC best practices.
• Review development and test deliverables to ensure the completeness of the requirements within timelines.
• Leadership & Vision: Inspire and guide development teams with a clear technical and strategic vision.
• Provide periodic updates, executive reporting on project status, etc.
• Resource Allocation: Assign roles and responsibilities based on skill sets and project demands.
• Performance Management: Set KPIs, conduct regular reviews, and provide constructive feedback.
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
• Good written and verbal communication skills are a must for this position.
• Passionate to learn new technologies / tools as required.
• Ability to manage the stakeholder relationships and expectations. Manage effective stakeholder communication.
   

Experience:

• Minimum of 12+ Years’ experience.
• Relevant experience of 10+ years in Business requirement mapping, quality analysis and software development lifecycle. - Mandatory
• Experience in working in a fast paced, high expectation 24x365 environment. 
• Candidate should have knowledge in LC/BG/Trade systems. - Desirable
• Understanding of messaging standard like MT 15022, ISO20022. – Desirable
• Experience MS Project, Strong MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Visio skills - Mandatory
   

Knowledge:

• Knowledge of API and Microservices, various communication protocol, middleware technologies - Mandatory
• Ability to diagnose and resolve basic technical issues
• Ability to learn new technologies
• Candidate should have good understanding of databases
• Understanding of the regulatory and competitive impacts on Payments
• Strong time management and organization skills
• Candidate should possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Knowledge in Banking domain- Desirable
