We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer to help design and implement scalable, reliable data solutions that power our Digital Parts Platform— driving data quality, accessibility, and performance across our products.

What Youll Do

• Design & build robust ETL/ELT data pipelines using Azure services (Data Factory, Databricks, Synapse) and modern big‑data tooling.
• Integrate data & APIs end‑to‑end—ingestion, transformation, and delivery—while optimizing reliability and performance.
• Work across structured, semi‑structured, and unstructured** datasets; deliver high‑quality, well‑modeled data.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, business analysts, and data architects to translate business needs into scalable technical solutions.
• Lead PoCs, operationalize new data workflows, and champion best practices and documentation.
• Leverage a toolkit including Python/SQL/Scala, Spark/Hadoop/Kafka/NiFi, and workflow tools like Airflow/Crontab.
  
  

About You

• 5+ years in data engineering (or related) with 3+ years building on the Microsoft Azure Data Platform (Azure SQL, ADF, Databricks, Synapse, ADLS, Logic Apps).
• Strong SQL and Python; bonus points for Scala/Shell. Deep experience with Spark and distributed data processing.
• Proven track record designing, optimizing, and operating ETL/ELT pipelines across structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data.
• Comfortable with big‑data and streaming tools (e.g., Hadoop, Kafka, NiFi) and both relational and NoSQL databases (MSSQL, Postgres; MongoDB a plus).
• Hands-on with CI/CD, version control, and automated testing; familiar with workflow schedulers/orchestrators (Airflow, cron).
• Clear communicator who turns business requirements into scalable technical designs and maintains solid documentation in agile teams.
