Understanding of backup, disaster recovery, and high availability architectures

📋 Job Description

The AWS Cloud Platform Engineer will be responsible for building and managing a secure, scalable, and resilient cloud infrastructure. The role involves designing AWS landing zones, managing multi-account environments, and implementing governance and security best practices across cloud platforms.

🔑 Key Responsibilities

Design, implement, and maintain AWS Landing Zone architecture
Manage multi-account environments using AWS Organizations
Implement governance frameworks, guardrails, and security policies
Design and manage IAM roles, policies, and permission boundaries
Architect high availability and disaster recovery solutions across regions and availability zones
Monitor cloud resource utilization and optimize costs
Deploy and manage AWS services including EC2, RDS, EBS, S3, and Load Balancers
Implement backup, disaster recovery, and data protection strategies
Manage patching, system updates, and infrastructure maintenance
Troubleshoot network and infrastructure issues in collaboration with support teams
Ensure platform security, compliance, and operational stability

🎓 Qualification & Certification

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
AWS certifications (preferred)
