Job Description

We're looking for a Level 3 Software Engineer to work on multiple projects and contribute to building scalable, secure, and high-performance web applications. In this role, you'll bring strong hands-on development skills along with solid architectural thinking to design, implement, and maintain complex systems. You'll focus on writing clean, maintainable code, contributing to technical decisions, reviewing code, and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams. While this role does not involve formal people management, you'll be expected to mentor junior developers, uphold engineering best practices, and help translate business requirements into robust technical solutions.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, and deploy full-stack web applications.
Contribute to architectural discussions and help implement scalable and maintainable system designs.
Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following best practices.
Perform code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.
Collaborate with product, design, and other engineering teams to deliver reliable, high-performance solutions.
Build and maintain scalable APIs with a strong focus on performance, security, and maintainability.
Work with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and deployment workflows.
Contribute to technical documentation and knowledge sharing.
Evaluate and prototype open-source tools or new technologies when required.
Ensure adherence to secure coding practices and data protection standards.

Requirements

B. E. \B. Tech\B. S. Candidates' entries with significant prior experience in the fields above will be considered.
5+ years of experience in full-stack development.
Strong logical and analytical skills with the ability to debug and reason through complex systems.
Proficiency in backend development using Python (FastAPI/Flask), including API development, service integration, and performance optimisation, and strong experience in building and managing microservices architecture.
Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and/or AWS for designing, deploying, and maintaining scalable web applications and backend services.
Strong understanding of relational databases (PostgreSQL/MySQL) and exposure to NoSQL databases.
Proficiency in frontend frameworks such as React or Next, along with solid HTML/CSS/JavaScript fundamentals.
Good understanding of RESTful APIs, CI/CD pipelines, and core software architecture principles.
Solid knowledge of the full software development lifecycle from development and testing to deployment and monitoring.
Working knowledge of authentication and authorisation mechanisms such as JWT, OAuth, SAML, and OIDC, along with web security best practices.
