Roles & Responsibilities

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Specialist to lead the design, deployment, and optimization of scalable cloud infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing complex cloud migrations, implementing robust Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices, and ensuring high-level security compliance within Government, BFSI, and Enterprise sectors. You will act as a technical lead, partnering with stakeholders to architect resilient environments that align with global compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities

Infrastructure Design & Deployment: Architect and deploy secure AWS environments, including Landing Zones (Control Tower), Centralized Networking (Transit Gateway, Direct Connect), and serverless architectures.

Automation & IaC: Develop and maintain modular Terraform configurations following DRY principles to automate the deployment of core services like API Gateways, EKS, and RDS.

CI/CD & DevOps: Build and manage automated CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab, or GitHub Actions, integrating Policy-as-Code (PaC) tools like Checkov and Sentinel to ensure 100% security validation before deployment.

Cloud Migration: Lead large-scale migrations (On-prem/Azure to AWS) using tools such as AWS MGN, DMS, and DataSync, ensuring minimal downtime and data integrity.

Security & Compliance: Align cloud infrastructure with regulatory frameworks (e.g., IM8, CIS Benchmarks, AWS Well-Architected Framework) and remediate findings from AWS Trusted Advisor or GuardDuty.

Performance Optimization: Implement cost-optimization strategies via S3 lifecycle policies and enhance system resilience through Disaster Recovery (DR) simulations in Pilot Light modes.

Technical Requirements

Cloud Platforms: Deep expertise in AWS core services; familiarity with Azure and GCP is a plus.

Containerization: Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes (EKS), and Helm charts in air-gapped or private environments.

Database Management: Experience migrating and managing MySQL, PostgreSQL, and MSSQL within RDS.

Scripting: Proficiency in Python, Bash, or PowerShell for automating operational tasks and custom Lambda functions.

Networking: Strong understanding of NGINX reverse proxying, FQDN-based routing, and hybrid connectivity.

Preferred Qualifications & Certifications

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field.

Certifications:

• Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA).
• HashiCorp Certified Terraform Professional/Associate
• AWS Certified Solutions Architect or Database Specialty.

Experience: >5 years of hands-on experience in cloud engineering.
