Job Description

An Associate Software engineer will participate in product development deliveries as well as support activities. This position is tasked but not limited to - code development, testing and deployment.

A Day in the Life Typically Includes

• Fixes any reported bugs while complying with the SDLC processes and coding standards.
• Creates/codes based on requirements/design and tickets
• Performs maintenance and enhancement of existing product modules.
• Conducts technical analysis, root cause analysis and other standard processes in the SDLC.

Basic Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree or similar in software engineering, information technology, or computer science
• 1 year relevant professional experience in Java programming language
• Understanding of OOP concepts
• Experience in mobile or web applications programming
• Comfortable in using Integrated Development Environment (i.e. Visual Studio, Eclipse, etc.)
• Ability to develop and interpret technical plans/designs
Good written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent problem-solving skills and self-reliant attitude
• Amenable to work 3x a week onsite in BGC

Preferred Qualifications
• With experience in mobile developement

• Experience or familiarity in AWS is a plus
• Experience in ERP Systems is a plus
• Some RDBMS experience is a plus
