Azure DevOps

• 5–9 years of hands-on experience working in DevOps or build & release engineering roles.
• Strong, practical experience (5+ years) with Azure DevOps services (Repos, Pipelines, Artifacts, Boards) in production environments.
• Proven experience designing, configuring, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for complex applications on Azure.
• Solid understanding of source control (Git) workflows, branching strategies, and code integration practices within Azure DevOps.
• Working knowledge of Docker for containerizing applications and integrating containers into build and deployment workflows.
• Experience troubleshooting build and deployment failures and resolving environment-related issues in Azure.
• Strong scripting capability using at least one scripting language (e.g., PowerShell, Bash, or similar) for automation within pipelines.
• Design, implement, and maintain end-to-end CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps for multiple applications and services.
• Configure and manage Azure DevOps Repos, Pipelines, Artifacts, and Boards to support efficient development workflows.
• Implement infrastructure as code (IaC) for Azure resources, ensuring consistent, repeatable, and version-controlled environments.
• Containerize applications using Docker and integrate container workflows into build and release pipelines.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize build, release, and deployment processes to improve reliability and performance.
• Collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams to define branching strategies, release strategies, and environment promotion workflows.
• Implement and enforce security, compliance, and governance best practices across Azure DevOps projects and pipelines.
• Automate routine operational tasks (builds, deployments, environment provisioning) to reduce manual effort and errors.
• Set up and maintain build and release documentation, runbooks, and standard operating procedures.
• Analyze pipeline metrics and deployment data to drive continuous improvement in delivery speed and stability.
