About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Automation QA Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in test automation, a deep understanding of QA methodologies, and the ability to collaborate across teams to ensure delivery of high-quality software.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze functional requirements to design, implement, and execute test strategies and automation frameworks.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to communicate test status, root cause analysis, and issue resolution.
• Participate actively in Agile ceremonies (standups, refinements, retrospectives, sprint planning).
• Identify, document, and track defects using issue tracking systems; partner with developers for timely resolution.
• Represent the QA team throughout all phases of the SDLC.
• Apply modern best practices in source control, build processes, release management, and deployment.
• Stay current with emerging tools, frameworks, and industry trends in automation and testing.
• Prepare detailed test reports and communicate findings to stakeholders.
• Execute automated tests and report outcomes.
• Conduct regression testing post bug fixes.
• Perform automation testing across performance, security, integration, system, and user acceptance levels.

Qualifications / Skills

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• 5–10+ years of experience in software testing or QA automation.
• Strong programming/scripting skills in Python, Java, JavaScript, TypeScript, or C#.
• Expertise in automation frameworks for CI/CD (e.g., MS Playwright).
• Familiarity with cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines, especially Azure DevOps.
• Experience with API testing tools (Postman, Swagger).
• Solid understanding of database testing and SQL.
• Exposure to AI/agentic AI in test automation (nice to have).
• Proven ability to design and develop test cases, plans, and scripts.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for defect resolution.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Working knowledge of Agile Scrum, SDLC, and STLC.
• Commitment to a collaborative, team-based culture.

Education

• Any Degree (Bachelor’s preferred in Computer Science or related field).
