Data Analyst – Microsoft Fabric/Pysaprk:

We are seeking an experienced Data Analyst – Microsoft Fabric professional to design and develop scalable data models, integrate heterogeneous data sources, perform advanced statistical analysis, and deliver insightful dashboards that enable informed business decisions. The role involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and timely delivery of actionable insights.

Primary Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and test data models to ingest and transform data from multiple source systems based on project requirements.
• Analyze heterogeneous datasets and write SQL and PySpark scripts to integrate data from diverse sources.
• Perform advanced statistical analysis and interpret results to support data-driven decision-making.
• Conduct data mining and exploratory analysis to address evolving business requirements.
• Translate business needs into effective dashboards and analytical solutions.
• Adapt to changing requirements and implement best practices in data analytics and data modeling.
• Migrate data into standardized analytics platforms (e.g., Microsoft Fabric / Power BI) and build critical data models to improve process performance and product quality.
• Own end-to-end technical implementation and documentation related to datasets and analytical solutions.
• Provide regular project status updates, perform root cause analysis, and drive continuous improvement across processes, performance, and data quality.
• Deliver post-implementation support to ensure long-term sustainability and value realization.
• Build strong working relationships with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and timeliness.
• Independently manage stakeholder expectations and prioritize initiatives with minimal supervision.
• Mentor and guide junior team members and peers.

Mandatory Skills & Experience (7+ Years)

• 7+ years of experience in data analysis and statistical analysis.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and PySpark.
• Hands-on experience with advanced statistical techniques.
• Knowledge of SAP systems, including SAP S/4HANA, SAP ECC, and related T-Codes and navigation.
• Expertise in database development, optimization, and troubleshooting across:
• Microsoft Fabric
• SQL Server
• SAP HANA
• Azure Synapse Analytics
• Proven ability to gather business requirements and translate them into analytical and technical specifications.
• Strong communication skills (verbal and written) for effective cross-functional collaboration.
• Advanced expertise in Power BI for report and dashboard development.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 tools.

Desirable Skills

• Experience working in Agile/SCRUM delivery models.
• Understanding of enterprise server architecture and cloud platforms.
• Ability to deliver training sessions and presentations in areas of expertise.
• Strong understanding of business processes, preferably within manufacturing or inventory management domains.
