Job Description

Job Requirement - Core Responsibilities:

We are seeking a highly skilled Oracle E‑Business Suite (EBS) Functional Consultant with deep expertise in Financials, Inventory Management, Material Management, Sales Order Management, and Purchase Order Management. The ideal candidate should possess strong SQL and database analysis skills and demonstrate a keen interest in learning modern ETL technologies such as SAP BODS and SAP Datasphere, along with broader SAP functional and technical concepts. This role requires a proactive team player with excellent collaboration and communication abilities, capable of taking full functional ownership across multi‑module business processes to support operational excellence and achieve organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Configure, implement, and support Oracle EBS R12 modules, including:
• Finance: AP, AR, GL, FA, CM
• Basic functional knowledge of:
• Inventory Management
• Material Management
• Sales Order Management (OM)
• Purchase Order Management (PO)
• Manage end to end functional setups and configurations, including workflows, business rules, and cross module integrations across Finance and SCM modules.
• Perform detailed data structure analysis, with strong understanding of:
• Table level and column level structures
• Key EBS table relationships (e.g., OM → Inventory → Purchasing → Finance)
• Collaborate closely with technical teams to support RICEW components (Reports, Integrations, Conversions, Enhancements, Workflows).
• Write efficient SQL queries and perform database analysis for:
• Data validation
• Issue diagnosis
• Views creation
• Procedures creation
• Table level debugging and data tracing
• Demonstrate a strong learning mindset, with willingness to expand skills into:
• Modern ETL tools (SAP BODS, SAP Datasphere)
• Broader SAP functional and technical concepts
• Partner effectively with cross functional teams, ensuring smooth delivery of multi module business processes and alignment with organizational goals.
  

Position Qualifications

Experience Level: 5+ years of experience as an Oracle EBS Functional Consultant

Technical:

Primary skill (Must Have):

• Strong knowledge on Financial Modules
• Basic knowledge on other functional modules like - Inventory Management, Material Management, Sales Order Management, Purchase Order Management
• Good understanding of multi module process flows in EBS.
• Strong SQL scripting and data analysis capabilities.
• Participate in data migration, integration, and transformation initiatives using these tools.
• Secondary skill (Nice to Have):
• Knowledge of AI toolsets for automation and predictive analytics.
• Knowledge of SQL scripting for data extraction and analysis.
• Exposure to SAP FI/MM/SD modules.
• Basic experience or understanding of ETL concepts.
• Experience in EBS to SAP transformation projects.
• Experience in SAP Central Finance
• Experience in Agile or hybrid methodologies.
• Strong willingness and ability to learn:
• SAP BODS (BusinessObjects Data Services) for ETL and data transformations
• SAP Datasphere for cloud data modelling, integration, and governance
• SAP functional modules (FI/MM/SD)
• SAP Central Finance
• Non-Technical:
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and interact confidently with clients in onsite/offshore models
• Strong multitasking capability and ability to manage priorities with high accuracy and attention to detail
• Quick learner with ability to grasp new technologies through instruction and self-training
• Perseverance and positive attitude to solve challenges and deliver results
• Effective team player with proven ability to work across diverse functional areas
• Eagerness to learn SAP, ETL tools (SAP BODS), and SAP Datasphere.
• Work collaboratively with business stakeholders, technical teams, and management.
• Support requirement gathering, solution design, testing (SIT/UAT), deployments, and production operations.
• Provide clear documentation, status updates, and user communication.
  

Logistical Requirements: Will be located at Hyderabad, India office

Education Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree (CSE, IT) or MCA with strong programming skills
