What you'll do:

Our Partner is building a modern Enterprise Data Platform (EDP) to transform how data from Pronto, EFM, and CRM systems is used. This role will act as the custodian of the company's data assets, ensuring strong data governance through quality, access control, and documentation across Azure Databricks, Power BI, and core systems.

You will also support IT operations by managing user administration and helpdesk triage, enabling the Head of Systems to focus on strategic projects and reducing reliance on external support.

Key responsibilities for this role include:

1. Data Governance & Catalogue Management

• Framework Execution: Implement the policies defined in the StirlingFildes Data Governance Framework, including data classification, retention, and incident response coordination.
• Data Catalogue Maintenance: Own and update the central inventory of data assets (tables, reports, fields) within Databricks Unity Catalogue and supporting documentation.
• Access Control: Manage role-based access requests for Databricks, Power BI, and key SaaS platforms, ensuring adherence to the "Least Privilege" principle.
• Metric Tracking: Prepare monthly reporting packs on Data Governance performance themes (e.g., Data Issue Resolution Rate, Pipeline Quality Pass Rate) for the Head of Finance, Data & Insights.
  
  
  

2. Data Quality & Platform Support & Reporting Development

• Report Development & Business Enablement:
• Collaborate with the Head of Finance, Data & Insights and business stakeholders to translate reporting requirements (e.g., P1/P2 critical reports identified in the Data Strategy) into Power BI dashboards and reports.
• Actively participate in co-development sessions with TMC Group during the EDP build phase, constructing Power BI reports against the validated Databricks Semantic Layer.
• Maintain and enhance existing Power BI reports post-go-live, managing version control, user access, and iterative improvements based on user feedback.
• Develop and maintain a library of standard DAX measures and report templates to ensure consistency and accelerate time-to-insight for ad-hoc business requests.
  
  
  

3. IT Operations & User Support (Relief Function)

• User Administration: Execute user onboarding and offboarding tasks across Microsoft 365, Azure Entra ID, and core business applications.
• Helpdesk Triage: Act as the first point of contact for internal IT support tickets. Resolve Level 1 issues (password resets, access requests, basic application navigation) and escalate complex issues to the MSP (Jasco) or Head of Systems.
• Vendor Coordination: Liaise with SaaS vendors and the MSP regarding system maintenance windows, security updates, and incident response.
  
  
  

4. Business Logic & Documentation

• "Dictionary" Stewardship: Document and maintain the business rules that define the EDP Semantic Layer (e.g., mapping transactions to "Healthcare" vs "SF+", Order Stage definitions for DIFOT calculations).
• Process Documentation: Create Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for data access requests, report usage, and common IT support tasks.
  
  
  

Successful candidates must have:

• Essential:
• • 2+ years in a Data Analyst, Data Administrator, or IT Support role.
  • Strong SQL proficiency (ability to write queries for data validation).
  • Experience with data visualization tools (Power BI preferred).
  • Understanding of basic IT administration (Active Directory/Entra ID concepts, Office 365 user management).
  • High attention to detail and structured documentation skills.
    
• Desirable:
• • Exposure to ERP systems (Pronto Xi highly advantageous).
  • Familiarity with Data Governance concepts (DAMA, Data Quality frameworks).
  • Experience with Azure Databricks or cloud data platforms.
  • Background in Logistics, Supply Chain, or FMCG distribution.

• Schedule: 6:00 AM - 3:00 PM (Philippine Time)
