What you'll do:
As a
Software Engineer, you will work across both legacy system support and the development of a modern platform rebuild. You will play a key role in ensuring business-critical systems remain stable while contributing to the future of the company's technology.
You will investigate and resolve issues, build new features, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, high-quality solutions. This role requires someone who is comfortable working with both legacy codebases and modern frameworks, with a strong focus on continuous improvement and clean, maintainable code.
Key responsibilities for this role include:
- Maintain and support the existing legacy CRM, including troubleshooting bugs and resolving production issues
- Develop enhancements and small feature updates within the legacy system
- Contribute to the development of new modules and features for the modern platform rebuild
- Build and maintain REST APIs for internal and external integrations
- Write and optimize database queries to ensure performance and data integrity
- Implement front-end components using modern JavaScript frameworks or libraries
- Collaborate with designers and stakeholders to deliver user-friendly solutions
- Participate in code reviews and uphold coding standards and best practices
- Support deployment processes and development environments (e.g., Docker, AWS)
- Ensure security, scalability, and reliability across all code contributions
- Proactively identify bugs, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement
- Communicate progress, blockers, and technical insights clearly with the team
Successful candidates must have:
- At least 3 years of professional experience in software engineering (PHP preferred)
- Strong experience with Laravel or similar modern frameworks
- Solid understanding of MySQL or relational databases (query writing, optimization, schema design)
- Proficiency in JavaScript (vanilla JS, jQuery, or modern frameworks like React/Vue)
- Experience with HTML5, CSS3, and frameworks such as Bootstrap
- Experience designing and consuming REST APIs
- Familiarity with Git version control (Bitbucket or similar
- Strong understanding of MVC architecture and object-oriented programming
- Experience integrating third-party APIs (e.g., AWS, Stripe, Microsoft Graph) is a plus
- Familiarity with Docker, CI/CD pipelines, or Linux environments is an advantage
Work Arrangements:
- Schedule: 6:00 AM - 3:00 PM (Philippine Time)
- Work Setup: On-site - Be part of a collaborative and energetic team in a professional office environment.
