Job Title: AWS Data Engineer

Duration: Long Term Position (12+ Months)

Location: Downtown Toronto, ON (Hybrid Position)

Required Skills

8+ years of experience as a data engineer and must have hands on experience as AWS Engineer with knowledge of AWS services for Data migration and in depth knowledge of Python.
Must have experience in core AWS services, and basic AWS architecture best practices.
Should have experience in S3, AWS SFTP, Kinesis, AWS Glue, Athena, Lambda, Airflow etc
Preferred to have good understanding of AWS services like Air Flow or Step functions.
Must have experience in optimizing jobs for Performance, Validation and Testing
Experience in CDK updates and deployment for Dev/UAT/Prod.
Strong communication skills - in onsite / offshore engagement models

Nice to have

AWS certification a plus
