Job Description

We are seeking a QA Engineer with 1-3 years of experience to join our Quality Assurance team.
The ideal candidate must have a strong technical understanding of modern web automation frameworks and tools like Selenium, Appium, etc., with hands-on experience of working with these tools.
The QA engineer will be responsible for automating tests with an aggressive test strategy and ensuring high-quality software delivery through a good mix of automated and manual testing processes.
This role requires technical expertise in web testing tooling, plus the ability to collaborate & communicate effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality engineering deliveries.

Skills & Desired Candidate Profile

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering / Technology / MCA.
Minimum 1 year of experience in software testing
Excellent testing, analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
Good experience in web, mobile and backend API testing with tools like Selenium, Appium,
BrowserStack, Postman and other low or no-code tools, etc.
Experience in at least one programming language (Python, Java, JavaScript etc.)
Good understanding of SQL and database testing.

Roles and Responsibilities

Design an exhaustive test suite for a given application or feature
Own QA for your builds by designing, writing & executing high-quality test cases - both automated & manual as an individual contributor.
Ensure each build is in line with the PRDs from both functional and non-functional aspects.
Being vocal about product requirements and suggesting positive changes.
Work with engineering leads and product managers to refine test cases and strategy, if needed.
Gain deep product & business context of the products to highlight defects and increase overall product quality.
Optimise QA efforts provided by QAs to have the right balance of effort and quality and ensure timely QA sign-off
Identify, document and track issues using JIRA or equivalent.
Execute and monitor automated and manual test cases, analyze results, and report findings to stakeholders.
Ensure compliance with software quality standards and security best practices.
Drive improvements in test automation, explore new tools and technologies, and enhance the overall QA process.
