As a Security Engineer you will help drive our goals by:
Principal accountabilities
- Analyse alerts, events, and threat intelligence from a wide range of security tools.
- Deliver expert investigation and response to complex security incidents.
- Help ensure efficient and effective SOC detection and response cycles
- Contribute to ongoing improvements in tooling and process efficiency and resilience.
- Build or enhance detection use cases, dashboards, reporting, and health monitoring.
- Support automation efforts to scale security operations.
Key skills that will help you succeed in this role:
- Experience in working with SIEM & SOAR Platforms, endpoint security and network security technologies
- Strong understanding of cyber-security technologies and threat detection.
- Ability to analyse logs, events, and security telemetry.
- Experience supporting incident response activities.
- Certifications such as Security+, CySA+, GSEC, or vendor-specific security accreditations.
- Familiarity with scripting, automation e.g., ( low-code, PowerShell, Python) and API integrations.
