What is the role?

Product manager required to work on autosuggest, free text search, spell correction on autosuggest/search, voice search , multilingual voice search centric tech products. This role requires to influence a cross-functional team and deliver consistently . This role coordinates and inspires the creation of innovative products and services in an agile development environment and ensures delivery of the features and functionality to maintain and grow business. The Product Manager is responsible for overseeing and bringing products to market while meeting key business objectives.

Product Manager with 4+ years of work experience from a tech background.

Requirements

• Hands on experience of building and managing consumer tech products.
• Prior experience in autosuggest, search, image search, voice search is preferred.
• Has experience on working on user facing apps, verticals within apps from the product point of view.
• Well versed with writing technical specs & requirements. Should be able to translate ideas into wireframes, designs etc.
• Has experience in understanding the business strategy and customer needs to ensure product functionality within the given timelines.
• Good to have a resource who has prior knowledge of analytics tools such as google analytics.
• Should be able to extract (using kibana for eg), understand and decode API's and their response
• Has experience in releasing products and gathering customer feedback, and using the same to build better products.
• Understands technology . Should strive to focus on great user experience and stay updated on what is trending with the best practices and market disruptors.
• Should be organized and can plan, forecast and manage a product backlog.
• Exceptional organizational, analytical and problem solving skills.
• Should be able to effectively communicate and work with various stakeholders across the organization.
  
  

Principal Duties And Responsibilities

• Works with engineering to drive product development from conceptualization through launch - creating actionable plans, work streams, tactics and deliver on those in support of business KPI's
• Manages the product roadmap for your strategic area, setting expectations with all relevant stakeholders
• Works with product marketing, design, engineering, quality etc. to successfully deliver products to market
• Leverages data/analytics to make tactical and strategic product decisions
• Demonstrate favourable results through leadership and influencing multiple individuals and groups
• Cultivates a deep understanding of the customer and work tirelessly to identify new opportunities to improve their experience
• Produces and manages usability studies, product metrics, competitive, customer and market analysis into product requirements to identify new opportunities
• Strives to be a subject matter expert in their strategic focus area(s) by identifying the challenges our customers' face and defines new opportunities to improve our customers' experience
• Controls scope of large projects
• Removes business related roadblocks to ensure success product delivery on time and within scope
