Tech Lead- SDE 3- Backend

At Kapture CX, we are looking for a Software Development Engineer – III (Java) in our Engineering team.

What is this role all about?

As an SDE - III, you will work on building high-performance, scalable backend systems that power mission-critical enterprise and SaaS applications. You’ll be part of a global engineering team solving complex technical problems and delivering robust solutions used by customers worldwide.

Here’s a more detailed description of what you will do in this role:

• Owns individual modules within the larger Kapture suite of products, right from design to delivery
• Translates business requirements into tech requirements and ensures delivery as per timelines
• Ensures system uptime and SLA adherence for their module
• Directly manages a team of 2-4 engineers, including effective planning and delegating, sprint management, mentoring and code review, etc.
• Independently engages with external clients and with implementation, support and product teams on requirements related to their module
  
  

This is a Bangalore-based role. We work five days a week from the office, as we believe in-person interactions fuel innovation and agility.

What does success look like in this role?

First level manager who owns a specific module within the Kapture suite of products, ensuring system stability and delivering as per business requirements, including engaging with clients and other internal teams as required

What would make you a good fit for this role?

Here Are The Basic Requirements

• You have 6–8 years of hands-on overall experience
• Expertized in Java development
• You have worked with Spring Boot and microservices-based architectures
• You have experience building enterprise-scale systems for global customers
• You are comfortable working with relational databases like MySQL
  
  

What are the most critical skills for this role?

• You have strong expertise in Java, including multithreading and performance optimization
• You understand enterprise application architecture and design patterns
• You are skilled at writing clean, testable, and maintainable code
• You can clearly articulate your technical ideas and design decisions

• You have experience working on B2B and SaaS-based internet products
• You have exposure to low-latency or high-throughput systems
• Prior startup/founding experience is a strong plus
• You have working knowledge of Unix/Linux environments
• You enjoy solving complex technical problems in fast-paced environments
