DevOps OnPremise

We are looking for an experienced DevOps engineer with OnPremise solutions to enhance and maintain our clients' infrastructure. The role involves adapting configurations to match specific client needs, proposing improvements in scalability, security, and performance, and being a proactive advisor to clients. Key responsibilities include infrastructure maintenance, aiding the development team in resolving anomalies, implementing DevSecOps practices, and ensuring updating of dependencies and security standards.

Required competencies/experience:

§ DevOps Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer, specifically with OnPremise infrastructures.

§ Configuration Adaptability: Adjust configurations for alerting, dashboards, metric collection, logs, and traces.

§ Continuous Improvement: Propose enhancements in scalability, security, and performance.

§ Infrastructure Maintenance: Ensure optimization and proper upkeep of existing infrastructure.

§ Collaborative Problem Solving: Assist the development team in resolving anomalies or roadblocks.

§ DevSecOps Practices: Implement security measures integrated within development processes.

§ CI/CD Tools: Proficiency with Git, GitHub, GitHub Actions in a Microsoft Azure environment and Podman for containerization.

§ Quality and Security tools: SonarQube, Git Guardian...

§ Databases: PostgreSQL or/and MongoDB.

§ Operating Systems: Linux system with Bash, NFS, SMB.

§ Working Language: English to facilitate effective communication with our delivery managers in Romania.

Nice to Have

§ Knowledge of JIRA and Confluence tools.

§ Monitoring Tools: Familiarity with Prometheus and Grafana.

§ Familiarity with cloud Microsoft Azure environment.

§ Knowledge of generative AI, particularly using assistants like GitHub Copilot.
