Senior Data Scientist

Job Summary

LatentView Analytics is seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Scientist – GenAI to join our Data Science team. The ideal candidate will design, build, and deploy advanced LLM-based solutions with a strong focus on Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) architectures and model fine-tuning. This role requires expertise in end-to-end LLM development, data strategy, and MLOps/LLMOps, with the ability to transform complex business requirements into scalable AI solutions and communicate insights effectively to stakeholders.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Design, build, deploy, and debug advanced Large Language Model (LLM) solutions for enterprise use cases.
• Develop and optimize Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines for scalable AI applications.
• Fine-tune and customize LLM models to solve domain-specific business problems.
• Implement end-to-end LLM development workflows, including model experimentation, deployment, and monitoring.
• Use SQL to extract, transform, and analyze data to support model development and validation.
• Create and curate high-quality seed datasets for training and improving AI models.
• Own the AI lifecycle, including development, debugging, evaluation, and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into AI-driven solutions.
• Present model insights, performance results, and recommendations to stakeholders.
• Support visualization and reporting needs; experience with Tableau is an added advantage

Required Skills

• Seeking professionals with 3–6 years of experience in Data Science and Generative AI
• Strong knowledge of Machine Learning and Deep Learning concepts, including model development and evaluation.
• Hands-on experience in Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), RAG architectures, and model fine-tuning.
• Proficiency in SQL for data extraction, data analysis, and supporting AI model development.
• Experience with MLOps / LLMOps practices including model deployment, monitoring, and optimization.
• Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau and ability to communicate insights effectively.
