This is a remote position.

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive QA Engineer with 3–5 years of experience. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in manual testing, API validation, and a solid understanding of software testing life cycles. This role involves testing modern applications, including GenAI-powered systems such as LLM-based features, chatbots, and agent workflows. You will collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and QA teams to ensure high-quality releases and seamless user experiences. This is an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge technologies involving AI-driven systems while contributing to the reliability and performance of enterprise-grade applications.

Responsibilities

Perform functional, regression, integration, and system testing.
Design, document, and execute comprehensive test cases and test scenarios.
Identify, log, and track defects using tools like JIRA or similar platforms.
Conduct API testing using tools such as Postman.
Collaborate with product, engineering, and QA teams to ensure quality across all stages.
Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and release validation processes.
Test GenAI-based features including prompts, AI agents, and workflows.
Validate AI outputs for accuracy, consistency, and edge cases.
Participate in sprint planning, reviews, and other Agile ceremonies.
Ensure overall product quality, usability, and performance.

Requirements

Essential Skills

Job

Strong understanding of STLC and SDLC processes.
Hands-on experience in manual testing methodologies.
Basic knowledge of API testing (Postman or similar tools).
Experience with defect tracking tools like JIRA.
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Ability to test and validate GenAI features and workflows.

Preferred Skills

Job

Understanding of LLMs, prompts, and AI-generated responses.
Experience testing chatbots, AI agents, or prompt-based systems.
Basic knowledge of test automation tools (Selenium, Cypress).
Exposure to performance or security testing.
Awareness of CI/CD pipelines and processes.

Personal

Strong ownership and accountability in delivering quality outcomes.

Other Relevant Information

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Relevant certifications in software testing are a plus.
Experience working with AI/GenAI-based applications is highly desirable.
