Frontend Developer

LegalSight is a software development and IT services company specializing in legal software that empowers legal professionals to work more efficiently and reduce risk. Our solutions are trusted by legal teams to streamline complex workflows and improve outcomes for their clients.

The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in Frontend Development and a strong understanding of the Angular Framework and its inner workings. A successful candidate should have the skills to translate design and integration requirements into a working system built using Angular.

Main Responsibilities:

-Feature Implementation (Figma to Working Page)

Translate Figma designs into functional Angular pages, accurately reproducing layout, responsive behavior, and component interactions.
Integrate with REST API endpoints to fetch, submit, and map data within Angular components and services.
Build and maintain forms with validation, dynamic fields, and conditional logic.
Create reusable custom components and integrate third-party Angular libraries as needed.
Leverage Claude Code's Figma integration to accelerate design-to-code workflows.

-Bug Fixing and Debugging

Diagnose and resolve UI, form, and API-related bugs across the component, service, and data layers.
Validate fixes against requirements, edge cases, and regression scenarios before marking complete.

-Blockers and Clarification

Surface blockers early, including API gaps, unclear requirements, or design mismatches.
When raising a blocker, include the issue, its impact, and a suggested path forward.

-Communication

Provide consistent updates on progress, risks, and delays.
Remain responsive within a small team setup where coordination depends on timely communication.

Required Technical Qualifications:

3+ years in Frontend Development JavaScript, HTML and CSS/SCSS.
2+ years of Angular (v2+) experience with at least 1 full project lifecycle involvement.
Good understanding of Angular architecture (modules, services, DI, forms, routing, etc.).
Hands-on experience with Typescript and JavaScript.
Understanding of when and when not to use state management systems.
Basic Angular unit testing experience or at least a familiarity of it.
Familiarity with Bootstrap-components, grid, and utilities.
Good grasp of design to frontend code implementation within Angular.
Understanding of responsive design principles and cross-browser compatibility.
Git experience.
Experience integrating with JSON REST API endpoints.
Experience integrating third party Angular libraries, and creation of custom component controls.

Good team player, can work Independently, and a trustworthy individual with a commitment to excellent work ethics.
Quality focused and detail oriented.
