About The Role
We are seeking an experienced
DevOps Engineer to enable, automate, and scale our engineering platforms across
AI-driven applications, internal developer tooling, and datacenter/infrastructure systems.
This role plays a critical enabling function across teams—partnering closely with
software engineers, AI engineers, infrastructure/platform teams, and IT to build reliable CI/CD pipelines, cloud and on‑prem automation, secure environments, and scalable deployment workflows.
The ideal candidate is hands‑on, system‑oriented, and comfortable working across
cloud, on‑prem servers, AI services, and modern DevOps toolchains.
Key Responsibilities
Platform CI/CD
- Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for backend services, internal tools, and AI‑powered applications.
- Standardise build, test, release, and deployment workflows across multiple engineering teams.
- Integrate AI‑based tooling (e.g. LLM services, automation jobs) into CI/CD pipelines where applicable.
Infrastructure Automation
- Automate infrastructure provisioning using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Bicep, ARM, CloudFormation).
- Manage and optimise cloud (Azure/AWS/GCP) and on‑prem / datacenter environments.
- Support automation for server provisioning, configuration management, and monitoring.
Cloud AI Enablement
- Enable secure deployment and operation of AI services (OpenAI / Azure OpenAI / LLM APIs).
- Support internal AI applications such as document translation, summarisation, chatbots, and RAG systems from an infrastructure and deployment perspective.
- Partner with engineering teams to productionise AI POCs reliably.
Observability, Reliability Security
- Implement and maintain logging, monitoring, and alerting (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Azure Monitor, etc.).
- Drive SRE best practices: uptime, performance, incident response, and post‑mortems.
- Ensure compliance with internal security standards (secrets management, access control, network security).
Collaboration Enablement
- Work closely with software engineers, AI engineers, DevOps, IT, and infrastructure teams.
- Act as an enabler for engineering productivity through automation and tooling.
- Contribute to internal documentation, runbooks, and DevOps best practices.
- Support cross‑team onboarding and platform adoption.
Requirements
Core Skills
- 4+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or Platform Engineering roles.
- Strong experience with CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, GitLab CI, Jenkins).
- Hands‑on experience with cloud platforms (Azure preferred; AWS/GCP acceptable).
- Proficiency in scripting or automation (Python, Bash, PowerShell).
- Experience managing containerised workloads using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Strong understanding of Linux systems, networking, and security fundamentals.
