About the Role:

The Data Analysis team at Factori is responsible for managing data and insights operations. This team works with large datasets and supports customers with data-driven insights solutions. We are looking for a Senior Data Analyst who can collaborate with cross-functional teams and contribute to data processing, storage, and retrieval strategies to enhance our data capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

Work closely with the product, engineering, and data science teams to understand and leverage our data assets.
Collaborate with internal analytics and engineering teams to set up data processing pipelines using SQL, Python, Spark, and cloud technologies.
Develop and optimize strategies for data storage, integration, and retrieval for large-scale data applications.
Research alternative data sources and assess their integration within Factori existing data ecosystem.

What we are looking for :

Skills :

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field.
Technical Skills:
Proficient in SQL with the ability to write complex queries.
Strong Python skills (Pandas, NumPy, etc.,).
Soft Skills:
Excellent analytical and critical thinking abilities for problem-solving.
Strong communication skills—able to convey ideas clearly and effectively.
Self-starter with the ability to take independent action and ownership of tasks.

Good to have:

Familiarity with Google/AWS/Azure Cloud & Apache Spark.
Familiarity with Air Flow.
Familiarity with Shell scripting
Knowledge of Excel and ETL tools.

Experience :

Minimum 2+ years of experience in Big Data.
