About The Role

We are looking for seasoned engineers who have evolved from writing code to engineering solutions. As a Mid-Level Engineer, you are a critical pillar of our team—you don't just grow; you help the team grow. We need "Mature Bamboo" talent: individuals who thrive in technical ambiguity and possess a deep product mindset. You will be expected to take full ownership of features, ensuring every line of code serves our mission to empower small businesses.

Tech Stack and Tools

Languages/Frameworks: Ruby, Go, TypeScript, Python, RoR, React, Vite, webpack, etc.
Infrastructure: AWS, Kubernetes, Terraform, Helm, Aurora, BigQuery, etc.
Tools: Claude code, Argo CD, Bugsnag, Datadog, Redash, etc.

Responsibilities

Functional development within the core software and the design and development of supporting microservices.
Ensuring high system availability and rapid incident recovery.
Clarify the background, context and specifications of requirements, break them down into small, actionable tasks and maximize output as a team.
Lead communication and collaboration within the team, including other departments such as PM and PD, to achieve goals.
Maintain high quality delivery while staying on track with the long-term roadmap, and set a good example for other members through consistent technical contributions and a collaborative attitude.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

At least 4 years of professional experience in software development.
You don't just wait for a ticket; you identify gaps in the system. You are autonomous in solving complex bugs.
You act as a bridge between business needs and technical execution. You advocate for the user during technical grooming.
You are a lifelong learner who is now ready to SHARE—mentoring juniors and improving team workflows.
You have a track record of thriving in fast-paced, changing environments and continuously learn new technologies.
A strong product-first approach with a passion for user experience and problem-solving.
Ability to work in a Hybrid Setup (at least 3 days onsite in Makati from Monday to Friday).
