Your Impact

You will be a key member of Periscope’s technology team, contributing to the development of core enterprise products. This is a highly hands‑on role, with approximately 70% of your time spent on coding, code reviews, and software design while leading development initiatives.

Over time, you will grow expertise across database design, middle‑tier architecture, cloud platforms, DevOps, and continuous delivery. You will be a self‑driven learner, applying agile engineering practices and mentoring developers to strengthen overall engineering excellence and organizational capability.

You will be based in our Bengaluru or Gurugram office as part of our Growth, Marketing & Sales team.

Your Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science or equivalent area
• 6+ years’ experience in software development, particularly in designing and implementing complex enterprise systems that handle large-scale data processing
• Experience in backend development and hands-on with .NET Core (ASP.NET Core, C#)
• Demonstrable experience with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL), NoSQL databases (e.g., Mongo, Cosmos and Elastic search), and in-memory databases (e.g., Redis). Experience in Big Data platforms such as Databricks or Snowflake is a plus
• Experience with unit testing frameworks (e.g., xUnit, NUnit, MSTest) and writing comprehensive tests
• Proficient in cloud infrastructure, with a strong preference for experience in Azure.
• Skilled in the use of container technologies including Terraform, Docker and Kubernetes, with experience in containerizing Python or Spark applications and managing them in production environments
• Proficient in modern engineering practices including code refactoring, application of design patterns, design-driven development, continuous integration, scalability of applications, and application security
• Familiar with the Agile software development methodology and proficient with performance optimization and application profiler tools
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proven track record of developing innovative and efficient solutions
