Responsible for power consumption measurement in various video scenarios on Android phones (local playback, streaming media YouTube/TikTok). Establish and maintain power consumption data.
Perform root cause analysis for abnormal power consumption or high power consumption scenarios, including system resource scheduling (e.g., CPU, GPU, DDR, Display pipeline), and be able to analyze system status using tools such as perfetto, systrace, and ftrace.
Collaborate with multimedia, display, and system optimization teams to propose specific power consumption optimization suggestions without affecting smoothness and image quality.
Develop automated tools to improve testing efficiency.
Competitive analysis, conducting video power consumption comparisons and architecture analysis for mainstream flagship models in the market.

Requirement

Familiar with Android system architecture and have a basic understanding of Linux Kernel power management mechanisms.
Understand the operating principles of Android multimedia frameworks (MediaCodec, Stagefright, SurfaceFlinger).
Proficient in performance/power analysis tools: Perfetto, Systrace, Simpleperf, etc.
Proficient in Python or Shell Script programming, capable of data processing and automated control.
Possess strong logical analysis skills, data sensitivity, and cross-departmental communication and collaboration abilities.
Priority will be given to candidates with experience in low-level debugging of mobile chip platforms (Qualcomm Snapdragon or MediaTek Dimensity).
Priority will be given to candidates with experience in understanding the impact of display technology on power consumption.
