Security Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and manage security solutions such as firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM, endpoint protection, and DLP.
• Monitor systems and networks for potential security breaches or intrusions.
• Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing, and work with teams to remediate findings.
• Investigate and respond to security incidents, including root cause analysis and incident reporting.
• Develop and enforce security policies, procedures, and standards.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years or more of experience in IT Security or equivalent.
• Strong understanding and experience in security technologies such as Firewall, VPN, SIEM, IDS/IPS, and those relevant.
• Proficient and skilled in either of these security tools such as Splunk, CrowdStrike, Palo Alto, Fortinet, Nessus, Nmap, Wireshark, etc.
• Proficient in handling Change Management requests.
• Possess solid experience and skills in secure network architecture and protocols (TCP.IP, DNS, SSL, etc).
• Familiar with cloud security practices such as AWS, Azure or GCP.
• Detailed-oriented and organized.
• Flexible and quick to adapt to sudden changes and issues.
• Proficient in English and Bahasa Melayu (written and verbal).
